Laguna de los Condores

On a rocky ledge, suspended above a cliff with the famous lake below, clouds seem to wrap this place with mystery. In the six chullpas (funeral tower), an uncountable number of mummies in an amazing state of conservation have been discovered, as well as precious objects and information that helped to understand large periods of these civilizations who successively buried their nobles here. Tombs are painted with several colors (originals) and friezes in zigzag testify the undisputable presence of religious rites for the death passage.
